PRESS RELEASE
The granting of a lease for the use of the Field at Little Beckford.
The Parish Council received more than one suitable application for the lease of Land at Little Beckford.
The Parish Council therefore held an Extraordinary Meeting to determine which applicant the lease of the Land at Little Beckford should be awarded to.
However, as it was not possible to identify any clear difference between the applicants’ responses to the questionnaire issued as part of the application process and they were judged to be of equal merit it was unanimously agreed to hold a supervised draw of lots.
The result of the draw held at the Extraordinary Meeting at the Village Hall is as follows:
The combined application from Jo Bell and Pam Bailey was independently drawn out of the bag by the Rev. Katrin and they were therefore awarded the lease.
