Speeding in Beckford (Ashton Road/Station Road Junction)

The Road Safety Team will see if there has been any recent surveys conducted by the team and any other factors relating to this road. They will also scout out some safe spots whereby The Safer Neighbourhood Team) could go out an conduct a survey/speed monitoring.

In terms of mobile phone offences, while out on patrol, officers if they see this happening should where appropriate take action. Unfortunately sometimes this may not always be possible for various factors, but something we can certainly look at during our speed monitoring and patrols.

Should residents have any footage via dashcam or recorded footage of poor driving etc, then these can be submitted to our Op Snap – More details can be found via: https://www.westmercia.police.uk//police-forces/west-mercia-police/areas/west-mercia/campaigns/campaigns/2019/operation-snap/

Crucially, advice to residents would be not to put themselves in any danger or risk of confrontation to record offences or poor driving.

I will liaise with PC Keeler the local neighbourhood officer reference the concerns raised and aim to keep you updated with our progress.
